"The Professor's Nightmare" is one of the most popular rope tricks of all time, and with good reason. Here is an offbeat version that uses pictures of ropes printed on the cards. It packs very small, but plays very big! The magician displays three cards with drawings that, when placed together, form a picture of three ropes of different lengths. The cards are gathered. A magical gesture is made and the cards are re-dealt. Now, the three ropes are of equal length! But that's not all; the process is repeated, and this time when the cards are dealt out the pictorial ropes have joined together into a single line! Comes complete with detailed instructions and the necessary specially printed cards.

"Have you ever taken a good look at the king of hearts? He's sometimes referred to as the 'suicide king' because he appears to be stabbing himself in the head with a sword. However, on closer examination you can see that the swords are actually positioned behind the king." With this introduction the performer begins an offbeat effect. The king of hearts is set aside, and a spectator selects two cards from the balance of the pack. However, when the king is turned over instead of the normal card back that was there before, now there's a view of the king from behind-and it's seen that the swords are skewering two miniature cards: the selections! Comes complete with detailed instructions and the necessary cards specially printed on Bicycle stock, plus two extra gimmicks for times when you'd like to perform the effect with just one selection

They're found on the face of the leader card, where they've joined together in an acrobatic cycling demonstration! Comes complete with full instructions and the necessary specially printed Bicycle cards, along with an extra gag card for a different finish.

Dazzle
A trick using five red-backed jokers. One of them is set aside, and replaced with a blue-backed joker. The other red-backed jokers magically change color to match the blue stranger. One of the blue-backed jokers is removed and replaced with an orange-backed joker; the other jokers in the packet turn orange as well. This process is continued, as the packet of jokers is caused to go through a bewildering number of color changes, from orange to yellow to green, etc., finally culminating with a change to nothing but faces on all sides, leaving a packet of five double-faced jokers!

In this very visual Close-up effect, the magician displays a series of five cards, ace of clubs through the five of clubs. A spectator is asked which one he believes to be the largest. Obviously, the answer is "five." However, the cards magically change to a jumbo ace to progressively smaller cards- the five is now the tiniest! Effect includes all the necessary cards and complete instructions.

The classic Game of "3-Card Monte" with Jumbo cards and many surprises! Three cards are shown: two black tens, and a queen of hearts. The spectator is asked to "find the lady," but that's not possible, for now the performer holds three black tens- the queen is found inside the magician's pocket! The game is repeated with the four-card set. Again, the spectator is unable to find the queen, for the packet now consists of four tens; the queen is again inside the magician's pocket! The performer suggests that a five card game is too difficult, so one card is set aside. The remaining cards are mixed. The spectator is asked to locate the queen, and of course, suspects that the card that was put aside is the queen. In fact, that card turns out to be the only ten, the other four cards are all queens, one of each suit! Effect includes all cards needed and complete, illustrated instructions.
