World of Magic Shop, Products by Keith Arlen Lack for sale
The performer begins, "When you hear the word 'witch' you probably think of a number of things, black pointy hats, brooms and this, a cauldron." With that, he displays a small (2" by 2") finely turned, dark wood cauldron along with two ornate dice. One of the dice is covered on all six sides by stars and the other with full moons."Here we have the makings of a spell, but no spell is complete without one of these..." The performer displays a piece of decorated parchment paper. "A spell card with the proper symbol in the center to get the spell moving. Here, I'll demonstrate what I mean. I am going to turn my back and I want you to pick up one of the dice and place it in the cauldron, then cover it with the lid. Then, take up the other one and place it behind your back." The performer turns his back and the spectator proceeds with the task. Once the spectator is finished, the performer turns around and places the cauldron in the center of the spell card. Immediately, without any "fishing" or strange moves, he divines which dice is in the cauldron! The effect may be repeated as often as you like No set-up required Everything may be examined before and after the effect Comes complete with the wood cauldron, dice, "parchment" spell card and an extra gimmick which allows you to perform the effect without using the spell card if desired.

Bleeding Heart by Keith Lack
Just in time for Valentines Day! Put a surprise at the end of your Four Ace Assemble with the "Bleeding Heart". Using your favorite ace assembly (or the one I provide in the instructions) and with deck in hand, you tell the story of the four major loves of your life. At each love mentioned, an ace is produced in an astonishing manner. At the end, you reveal the last card to be the Ace of Hearts representing the one true love of your life. You tell how you went to a school dance and lost touch soon after. All that you have to remember her by is the brass safety pin she used to pin a rose to your lapel with. The pin is produced and handed out for inspection. The pin is opened by the spectator and inserted into the center heart pip on the card. "Little did I know that she would break my heart in the end". Once the pin is pulled back out, the heart starts to bleed. The card is immediately turned over and handed out for examination.
A very strong handling combined with an entertaining routine makes this a real reputation maker. Easy to do. Comes with all you need to do this effect immediately and how to easily make ultra realistic blood at home when you run out. This is the good blood like you get in the kit. This recipe is worth the price of this effect alone and has been used in Hollywood for years. You will also receive full color instructions with a few alternate routines. Like
"VOODOO KING"- A demonstration in Voodoo using a King of Spades.
"STIGMATA"- Use this technique to cause pictures to bleed stigmata like streams of blood.
"Sweet Photo Syrup-rise"- Poke a photo of a can of chocolate syrup only to have real syrup leak out. Immediately hand the photo out for a taste test and inspection. The syrup appears to have come from nowhere. Very easy to do.
The method has lots of potential. You will come up with many ideas of your own.

Mini Boxed Queen Mystery by Keith Lack
Effect
An empty black box is shown to the spectator. Both the lid in the front and the lid on the top are opened to reveal an empty black chamber. The lids are then closed.
With a magical pass of his hand, the performer opens the top of the box and removes a tiny deck of playing cards. The box is then shown to be empty once again. The lids are closed, and the deck is shuffled. The spectator is asked to select a card. After the spectator has chosen a card, the card is placed back into the deck, and the spectator shuffles the deck until thoroughly satisfied that the card is indeed lost in the deck.
The performer makes another magical pass over the cards and begins turning the cards face-up one at a time. "Tell me when I get to your card," he says. The selected card never turns up! At that point, the cards are moved to the side and the box is turned around. The top lid is opened, and their card, the Queen of Hearts, is removed from the box. The Queen is placed in the performer's pocket, and the box is opened and offered for close-up inspection.
The box may also be used as a production piece. The load chamber will hold small silks, ribbon, etc...
NOTE: Small playing cards not included. A normal deck of cards may also be used in the routine but will not be produced from the box.
Box Dimensions (WxLxH) Approximately 2 1/4" x 3 3/4" x 2" (6cm x 9.5cm x 5cm)

We all have them, little things living on us! You know, dust mites and other small parasitic creatures. You have most likely seen blown up photos in a science magazine or on television of them. Yuk!!! It is interesting to know and point out that some people have even larger things crawling about their person. Now you can produce a parasite at any time in your cupped hands. Once the creature has been shown you can open your hands to reveal there is nothing there. Yet, you can re-cup your empty hands and produce the creature once more. Again open your hands to show nothing there. Very easy to do so you can focus on the performance. This is a performance piece for that special moment when you fell like really freeking someone out! If you are always asked "How did you do that?" Now, you can tell them that you have a little helper and show him to them. It creates a very strange moment. Supplied with the illustrated instructions for handling and the hand crafted Special Effect gimmicks.

Prestidigitators Almanac Volume 1 by Keith Arlen Lack
A Publication Dedicated To Exploring How Modern Technology Can Be Applied To The Art Of Magic.
The very first volume of a ground braking publication in magic. Eighteen pages of magic and mayhem. Four original effects straight out of Keith's personal repertoire.
In this Volume: Editors Note The "DEAR BOSS" letter and how to make them. This effect sold for $45.00. Now you can make your own as you need them. This is a killer séance effect where a historically accurate letter written by Jack the Ripper is read and a bloody hand print mysteriously appears on it at the end. "BUTTERFLY EFFECT" - The spectator actually sees a tattoo of a butterfly on the performer come to life and flies off. Ten "PERFORMANCE TIPS" from Keith himself. Over 25 years of performance knowledge is shared in this fantastic publication. "BLEEDING HEART" - After an ace assembly, the center pip on the ace of hearts is poked with a pin and it bleeds scarlet blood down the card. The card is then handed out for inspection or as a startling souvenir. The handling offered here also works for other effects included in the Almanac, like "VOODOO KING". This is the ultimate stigmata effect. "TAROT CARDS form the EDGE and BEYOND" - This one defies the laws of probability and will leave your spectator shaken but not stirred. The "PRESTIDIGITATORS ALMANAC" also includes hi resolution original art for reproducing the effects described in it as well as step by step photos and instructions on how to make them and where to get the hard to find stuff to do it. It also includes an 8" by 10" print of the poster from Keith's popular one man show "CABINET of CURIOSITIES".If you are a serious performer looking for information on making up your own props and effects, this is the publication for you. Here is a stunning piece of performance magic with a winter theme just in time for those holiday gatherings. Several people are asked to write down the first thing that comes to mind when they think of winter on a slip of paper. A spectator is selected and asked to collect the offerings and hand them to the magi. He mixes the slips and asks the spectator to select one and read it out loud to the group. The phrase "Winter Spirit" is called out by the spectator. The magi then takes a champagne or ice bucket from a nearby table and places it in the center of the spectators. All are encouraged to gather around the icy water. The magi tells the following story. "That could mean two different things. One, it could mean the feeling one gets during winter and the holidays. The spirit of it all and so on. Or two, it could literally mean a spirit. The actual spirit of winter. As I am a magi and spirits are my business so to speak, I think it the more interesting interpretation and I know a little bit about this subject as well. So, let me run with this and see where it takes us. You see, the four seasons are as different as the spirits that rule them. The winter spirit is the bolder of the group and if it were not for the others she would have covered the world in frost for all eternity. Fortunately the three other spirits will not stand for this and keep a tight rein on winter. She is only allowed to rule three months out of the year and then must be gone by the first day of spring. If she fails to do so, then Summer steps in and helps Spring heat things up a bit. When this happens, Winter melts away into a helpless slushy puddle much like this container of ice and water before us. You see, this is winter in her less powerful form. Just slush really. Yet, there is still a spark of her power here. I can feel her. Her cold chilly touch reaches out even from the icy water. Lets try something here. Right now. A little trip into the strange. Please quietly move in closer around the container. I think I know a spell that might reveal a glimpse of lady winter. Please be quiet and look closely at the icy water. If this works she will only manifest herself for a moment". After a bit of deep breathing, the performer reaches down into the slushy water and cups his hands, gathering ice and water in them as he goes. Slowly, an eerie transparent woman's face peers out through the icy water in his cupped hands. She appears to have been molded from the ice and water in exquisite detail. She has appeared from nowhere. "Ladies and gentlemen, meet lady winter". And just as suddenly as she had appeared, she is gone without a trace. The ice bucket/container can be inspected at length before and after, no trace of anything but icy water will be found. Lady Winter is gone till the next time. This also includes a bonus routine "The Lady in the Lake". A very well thought out routine around the King Arthur legend. These are quite beautiful and startling effects. They can be preformed in any setting where you have a water source.
