Ask a volunteer to pick a card from the deck, then return it and shuffle the deck. Standard procedure....so far!
Now this is where things get interesting! Pull your Credit Card out of the wallet, present its front and back to the crowd and lay it facedown on the table. Whilst doing this, present the volunteer with the following dare; "I'll make you an offer you can't refuse. I'll try to read your mind and find our which card you picked. If I get it right, you owe me a dollar, but if I miss, you get to go shopping with my credit card!"
While in deep concentration, you go through the deck, extract the card you settled on, and place it on the table. "Wrong Card!" he'll declare victoriously. Once he does, ask him to announce the correct card. "The eight of diamonds," he'll say. You ask him to turn the credit card over. Just imagine his face, when he'll realize that the figure in the credit card is actually holding the eight of diamonds.

This effect, if carried out correctly, will shake anyone's confidence in their logic as well as in their memory!
Flash-out your credit card, and your video membership card(V.M.) Display them both overtly, front and back and then neatly withdraw the credit card and place it behind your back. Meanwhile stretch the hand holding the V.M. card facedown toward the volunteer and challenge him for a quick memory test. The question is as you would expect it to be is;"Which Card am I holding?" And the anticipated answer unless the volunteer has a serious memory problem, would be the V.M. card. "Sorry maybe next time!" Turn your hand and open it to reveal the face of the credit card to the astonished crowd. Then just to add a little salt, you bring back your other hand from behind your back to reveal none other than the V.M. card.
The great thing about this effect is that it can be carried out many consecutive times, each time further shaking the volunteer's confidence. The irony is that he'll keep asking for one more chance.
A mind boggling effect that will simply leave them wondering!

Next time you check into a hotel, here's a little prank you can try on the desk clerk.
When he asks you for your credit card as insurance, ask him to feel the serial number on the card with his forefinger and then without warning him, just wipe the numbers off by rubbing your finger over them. If he doesn't fall out of his chair, it is because, he'll be to busy gawking in disbelief.
