Double Signed Card Routine by Richard Turner
By adding another spectator and a few more moves, Richard Turner elevates the Signed Card Routine to new heights. Imagine an effect where two spectator's autographed cards, one from a blue deck and one from a red deck disappear, only to have both cards appear and reappear over and over again. The amazement of the audience escalates with each appearance of a signed card; from the performer's hat, under a mat, from a spectator's hat, a wallet, torn and restored, and from a sealed deck of cards. Titillating as it may already seem the grand finale explodes when the sealed deck is opened to expose the spectator's signed cards -- and it is the same card!!
Richard Turner's startling Double-Signed Card Routine is for the true sleight of hand artist. It can be incorporated into your existing show or utilized as part of a standup act or a close-up routine.
In addition to the double signed card routine, Turner reveals his long held secret -- Turner's Key Card. With Turner's Key Card, you will be taught how to locate a selected card, by touch only, after a spectator has shuffled it into the deck.
Also Included are recently found photos, letter, and quotes from Dai Vernon, Ed Marlo, Charlie Miller, Michael Skinner, Fred Robinson, Larry Jennings, and a 1987 interview with Dai Vernon.

FANS, FLOURISHES, AND FALSE SHUFFLES by Richard Turner
Richard Turner has been making his living as a performer for 33 years, performing more than 70,000 shows for lay audiences. In this 105 minute DVD, Richard reveals some of the fans, flourishes, and false shuffles that he has employed to bring "visual punch" to his remarkable routines. The visual artistry taught by Richard range from simple to advanced.
Each manipulation is shown in real time, then in slow motion, and then followed by a step by step explanation.
Sixteen flourishes are taught, many of them original to Richard, such as the Asa Spades Fan, Cross Faro Fan, and the One-Hand Shuffle. Using flourishes to control cards is also exposed with Turner's Assembly Line Shuffle, One-Handed Triple Cut with Back Flip, and the Longitudinal One-Handed Shuffle Strip Out.
For the coin magicians, Richard has included a segment outlining 12 ways to juggle coins, including the eight coin roll and two coins going opposite directions on the same hand. In the Retro Magic segment, you will learn Richard's One-Handed Triumph, a baffling four card Do-as-I-do puzzle, and his Matrix Routine that ends with a five pound gold piece! All this and old footage from past performances make this DVD a must for any collector of magic.
"Technicians as a rule are not usually good actors or entertainers. Richard Turner is all three." - Ed Marlo, 1978 -

Gambler's Playing Cards by Richard Turner
Richard Turner not only knows how to handle a deck, he also knows what makes an effective deck of cards. Richard has combined his unprecedented card handling skills with knowledge gained as a touch analyst for the United States Playing Card Company (USPCC) to design and produce an unparalleled deck of cards. "I know what manipulators are looking for in a deck" says Richard, "it's the same qualities that I look for. It's those same qualities that I used to design Gambler's Playing Cards."
Richard spared no details in preparing for the Gambler's Playing Cards. He chose the top of the line paper produced by the USPCC, the Bee stock; used a thickness of paper that is designed to have lasting power, yet remain flexible; utilized a white border to make them magician friendly; checked by recognized authorities for one-way issues; and most importantly, followed the casino dictate of having the cards done in a traditional cut.
Traditionally cut cards are done in such a manner that the cutting blade goes through the face of paper stock and comes out the back. This method of cutting puts the sharp edge on the back of the card and the rounded edge on the face. Traditional card cutting was the norm in the past, but the process was changed about fifteen years ago. "As the casinos persist, I chose the traditional cut to ensure that card men and magicians could easily interlace the cards which produce crisp, clean shuffles, especially with some of the more intricate shuffling techniques. No professional likes to practice or perform with a deck that binds up," according to Richard. "If you want to know if your cards are traditionally cut, use this simple test: shuffle the cards face down, and then turn them face up and shuffle them again. If they shuffle better when the cards are face up, you most likely don't have a traditionally cut deck of cards."
One shuffle with the Gambler's Playing Cards and you will know instantly that they were made with the true card aficionado in mind.

Shifts, Hops, and Magic Passes by Richard Turner
'That'll get the money!'
A card man or a magician has two choices; learn just a trick or develop an arsenal of techniques that can be used to execute numerous tricks. In this power packed DVD, Richard Turner details must-have moves that every magician and card man should have in their repertoire. More particularly, Richard teaches how card men and magicians alike can work around the cut-work that separates the professionals from the amateurs.
Shifts, Hops, and Magic Passes was developed to provide a variety of options to use to nullify or work around a cut deck of cards. Some moves are very easy; others are devilishly deceptive, including the Turner Shift. The Turner Shift allows the card handler to transpose the two halves as fast as or faster than any shift yet devised. Not only is the Turner Shift done with speed, it starts and stops in a natural dealing position thereby making it undetectable to onlookers. The master mechanic Larry Jennings wrote, 'My friend Richard Turner, in my opinion, is the finest exponent of gambling sleight-of-hand that I have ever known.'
The moves taught on this DVD also have far reaching applications in the performance of magic routines. Cards appear, and cards disappear; cards go to the top, and then drop to the bottom or make instant color changes. The magical applications are far reaching and will add to the impact of any show.
Shifts, Hops, and Magic Passes includes an array of moves 'That'll get the money!' Moves such as the Turner Shift, Laying a Brief, Turner Half Pass, Turner Cover Shift, Cover Shift to Bottom, Bottom Palm to Top Hand, Deck Switch, Color Change, Side Grip Dive Shift, One Hand Dive Shift, Top Grip Dive Shift, One Hand Hop, Cover Hop, Delayed Hop, the Charlie Miller Shift, Mistake Shift, a Two Hand Shift, the Dump Shift, the Casino Slip cut, Casino Bottom Cut, a Scrape Cut, and the notable Turner Cut Card Shift.
Also included in Shifts, Hops, and Magic Passes are two magic routines: the Count Aces Royal and the Flipping the Aces. Counting Aces Royal is a routine that utilizes false counting techniques turning four aces into a royal flush. Flipping the Aces is a flashy way to produce the four big bullets. Both routines use techniques taught in the video.
In the typical Turner style, the DVD is packed with extras including a 2006 performance at the Magic Castle, military magic history, and a Christmas special featuring Asa Spades Turner.
Running Time Approximately 120 min
