The mentalist puts up five $20 bills as a challenge. All the spectator has to do is not give away the location of a personal object which he/she has been hidden under one of five paper cups while the mentalists back is turned. Then five tests are carried out one-by-one. The mentalist wins back each $20 bill as he locates the object by reading body language voice tonality and logical deduction.
The mentalist at the other side of the room reproduces (real-time) a drawing made by a member of the audience without even coming near the spectator or their drawing.
The mentalist holds up the correct number of fingers and on the same hand as a spectator standing at the back of the room and behind him. Not only that another member of the audience is covering the mentalist's eyes with his/her hands.
Blindfolded mentalists can tell the difference between red and black playing cards held up behind his head. He then asks the spectator to deal cards face up and stop at card he/she feels drawn to. Then another spectator opens a sealed envelop. It says "you will be attracted to (whatever card)..." And matches the spectator's choice. The possibilities are endless...

This component is built into an examinable, working Sharpie Chisel Tip. It is totally self-contained and wireless. By touching to your teeth or biting down on the pen you will receive voice cues from your assistant via radio directly into your head. Midas is the world's smallest pulse induction metal detector designed by James Cheung and Reg Martin specifically for mentalists. The search head is worn on the wrist and is connected to a silent vibrating body worn unit with a remote control. The search head is attached to the vibrator with a 1m lead and the remote is attached to that using a 30cm lead. The configuration has been designed to minimize lead snag and maximize concealment. If comfort, conceal ability and performance are important to you, Midas is really the only realistic choice on the market.
It utilizes the very latest auto-calibrating surface mounted circuitry allowing impressive miniaturization and performance that belies its size. The search field geometry has been optimized to provide proximity detection in all directions, eliminating the need for any ‘sweeping' action thus allowing for natural looking usage and highly accurate detection characteristics. A very brief touch is all you need. Even the set-up is simple and minimal - Just turn it on and you're good to go.
The performance figures are astonishing and have far exceeded the original planned specifications. Tests have shown that Midas will detect all metals, ferrous or non-ferrous including gold, silver, steel, iron, aluminum, nickel, brass, copper, tin, magnesium, copper, zinc, tin and rhodium.
