Fate?

Imagine this: Five audience members are brought forward--one joins the performer at the center of the performing area, and the other four position themselves in the four corners of the stage (where there are four laminated targets to mark the spots). Six small squares of aluminum foil are introduced-wrapped inside each one is either a blue poker chip or a red poker chip.
From the corners, the four audience members each select a foil packet, which are opened to reveal the color of the poker chip chosen by each person. The two remaining packets are also opened to see what two chips have been left behind. At this point, the performer poses a question to everyone about whether they believe that the decisions that they make every day actually affect their lives-or is everything that happens predetermined? In other words, is everything simply in the hands of Fate?
The performer then asks the audience member at the center of the stage to pick up a small stack of cardboard signs that has been sitting facedown on the table. As she displays them, one at a time, each sign details exactly what has just occurred-step-by-step-as if all of the choices made by the four different audience members were indeed predetermined. But after the last sign is revealed, there is still one more surprise revelation that brings the routine to an amazing conclusion.

Imagine this: An audience member places a medallion beneath any one of four inverted cups. Then, a different audience member (who was outside the room while the object was hidden) comes up to the table and she is successfully guided on a step-by-step journey to the medallion with no help from anyone in the room-including the performer.
Please be aware that no sleights are required, and there are no secret assistants. Also take note that the routine is designed for either close-up or stand-up performances. In addition, everything that you will need to perform the routine is included (except of course, the cups, the table, and the audience members).

Imagine.
A very simple word, and yet, such a powerful one.
Just Imagine that a volunteer from the audience can merely think of any item from a list that has been entirely created by the rest of the audience. She concentrates upon her selection as the you run through all of the named possibilities. When you get to the end of the list, you will be able to tell the volunteer exactly what she is thinking.
Just Imagine that a person can merely think of any one of the five standard ESP symbols-and you will be able to tell them which one.
And all of this (and more) can be accomplished on the spot. Nothing ever needs to be written. There is no advance preparation. No secret assistants. No gimmicks. No forcing. No pumping. No equivoque. And everything can be done without the performer ever touching anything-so there is obviously no sleight-of-hand. Simply put, everything here can look, and feel, like real mind reading. And everything can be done 100% impromptu.
But, there is a catch..
