  • Throughout this site all prices are shwon in UK Pounds, we accept orders from around the world but please remember that all payments are in UK Pounds. To view the latest Exchange rates for your currency please goto XE.COM.

    Orders over £30 come with FREE delivery within the U.K. and Europe. For orders under £30 there is a postage charge of £3.00.

    For International orders the following postage charges apply -

    All postage charges are automatically calculated prior to ordering. Please note that for International orders the customer is responsible for any import taxes that may apply!

     

    We aim to get orders dispatched between 1 to 3 working days (Mon - Fri), The quantity shown on the product description pages are the quantity available with both us and from the suppliers and this number is updated daily. If an item is found to be out of stock with our suppliers (which is RARE but can happen!) then we must ask you to allow upto 10 working days for dispatch. If an item cannot be dispatched to a customer witin this 10 working day period a refund for the value of the item shall be offered or the customer may opt to wait for the item to arrive in stock.

  • Refunds and Returns Policy
  • We must advise that you be fully aware of the items that you wish to order, due to the nature of magic being secret we CANNOT offer any refund on an item after it has been shipped to a customer and opened or used! This does not apply if an item is found to be faulty or damaged. If an item is found to be faulty or damaged simply contact us for a returns number and we shall ship another item in replacement for you upon receipt of your returned item (PLEASE VIEW THE "FAULTY ITEMS" SECTION BELOW FOR COMPLETE INSTRUCTIONS. If a replacemet item cannot be provided then we shall offer a full refund for the value of the item. All returned items must reach us within 14 days of the customer receiving the item, after this time no refund can be issued.

    In accordance with UK law we do allow a cooling off period whereby orders may be cancelled witihin 14 days of an order being placed. In this case refunds will be issued providing that the items are returned to us in its origional un-used and un-opened state within 14 days of the order being placed.

     

  • Faulty Items
  • If in the unfortunate event that your item develops a fault we must ask that you DO NOT attempt to fix an item yourselves as once an item has been tampered with you CANNOT return the item. If any evidence that an item has been tampered with then no refund / replacement shall be offered and you "the customer" will be responsible for return postage costs to have the item returned to you, if the return postage costs are not paid then the item will be kept in storage for 1 month and then disposed of.

    If a fault occurs you must contact us straight away regarding return intructions.

    We offer the same guarantee that the manufacturers / suppliers offer us on items as follows -

    For non electronic goods there is a guarantee of 1 month from the date ordered
    For Electronic Goods there is a guarantee of 45 days from the date ordered.
    For DVD's there is a 14 day gurantee from the date ordered
    Books are not covered by a guarantee as they are inspected by our staff at the time of ordering, in the event that an item is damaged in transit to a customer you must inform us immediately to arange a replacement and to allow us to carry out postal damages claims with the postal services

    We strongly advise all returns to be sent with "Proof of Posting" in case of an item going missing in transit. It is the customers responsibility to claim for a missing item with the relevant postal services if it does go missing before reaching us.

     

  • Privacy Policy
  • World-Of-Magic have a strong commitment to our users privacy and because of this we have provided the following privacy policy statement that describes the use of users information.

     

    Information Collection

     

    World-Of-Magic is the sole owner of the information collected on World-Of-Magic.co.uk.
    We request users information such as Name, address, email address etc whenever an order is placed. We do not collect Credit card information directly on our site; instead our secure payment processor Sagepay carries out all credit card transactions.

     

    We will 'NEVER' ask you for any credit card or bank account details via email, therefore if you do receive any correspondence claiming to be from World-Of-Magic asking for credit card or bank account information then please report it immediately to Accounts@World-Of-Magic.co.uk.

     

    Information Use

    Profile
    We store users information (Excluding credit card information!) in a secure password protected database both online and offline, which is inaccessible by third parties. This information is backed up on a regular basis and copies are stored securely offline at our customer services department.

    Cookies
    A cookie is a piece of data stored on a user's computer tied to information about the user. We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. For the session ID cookie, once the user closes their browser the cookie simply terminates. A persistent cookie is a small text file that is stored on the users hard drive for an extended period of time. Persistent cookies can be easily removed by following your Internet browsers help file directions.

    The cookie usage on World-Of-Magic.co.uk is in place for the purpose of our shopping cart system. For example a new customer to World-Of-Magic may add items to their shopping cart for the purpose of purchasing in the near future, the use of persistent cookies allows the customers shopping cart to remain intact after the customer leaves our site with the purpose of returning to carry out their purchase at a later date.

    The persistent cookies will be deleted from the users hard drive as soon as the user either finalises their order or opts to emapty their shopping cart. Please note that NO credit or payment details are stored in the persistent cookies!


    Communications from World-Of-Magic

    Special Offers and updates
    All new customers of World-Of-Magic are automatically emailed a welcoming email. Established customers will occasionally receive information on services, products, special offers and a newsletter. Out of the respect for the privacy of our users we present the option not to receive these types of communications.

    Newsletter
    If a user wishes to subscribe to our 'Mailing List' newsletter, we only require the users email address. Out of the respect for the privacy of our users we provide a way to opt out of these communications. Please simply view your welcom email for opt out instructions.
